Dr Priscilla Wehi is a conservation biologist and Associate Professor at the Centre for Sustainability, University of Otago. She is also Director of the New Zealand institute, Te Pūnaha Matatini, a Centre of Research Excellence in Complex Systems. She has authored more than 45 papers, reports and book chapters on biocultural diversity, animal ecology and most recently, Antarctic conservation management. She leads the Vision Mātauranga strand of the five-year Ross Sea Research and Monitoring Programme (Ross-RAMP).
